The development team was not aligned with business objectives and the management was looking for a solution. We had strict compliance requirements including ISMS and 3rd party audit and there was no established solution architecture to cater to both business requirements and compliance needs.
Time was also a huge challenge for us as we had only two quarters (6 months) to develop, launch, and deliver two main features (US Stocks trading and Crypto trading).
After forming a very small scrum team, we began to consistently deliver business increments on each and every sprint. In total, we executed 12 sprints during 6 months.
In response to solution architecture and compliance requirements, we designed and implemented Stonks Trading solution based on a zero-trust model to reduce risks and support compliance requirements.
